North Idaho College Cardinal Golf Tournament
Presented by the North Idaho College Booster Club. Proceeds support our nine North Idaho College athletic teams. Check in begins at 12 pm, tee off time for the Tournament begins at 1:00 pm. It is a four person scramble with a shotgun start.
All proceeds from this year’s Cardinal Classic Golf Tournament Fundraiser will go towards the Student Athlete Cardinal Fueling Station. The goal of the Cardinal Fueling Station is to fill the gaps in access to nutrients created by the student-athletes unique time demands and schedules. The importance of all-day fueling cannot be understated. Student Athletes have extremely busy schedules and need healthy nutritious snacks to be able to perform on the field, in the gym, on the mat and during class. Due to high training volumes and course loads, student-athletes often have extended blocks of time with little break in between to keep their body fueled with nutritious options. The idea of the fueling station is not to replace meals, but to provide heathy snacks, during the times that they have most difficulty finding and eating something nutritious (i.e. pre-practice, post practice, before/after class).
